We were just here for one night prior to flying out of Inverness. The hotel is only a few miles from Inverness airport. The front desk staff kindly made us a reservation for dinner at the Snow Goose restaurant next door (not affiliated with this hotel). The room was small but adequate for just one night. Plenty of plugs/charging ports. Buffet breakfast was good, better than expected and way better than the Holiday Inn Express at Glasgow airport.

The staff were wonderful. Very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. Our second room was in the townhouse across the street and was better. Walk up to second floor, window opened. Nice array of teas and coffees and a kettle. Bed was acceptable, but not super comfy. Honestly, if it weren't for the lovely staff (and the no-refund), I would have moved to another hotel.

We checked in with the assistance of Jules, who turned out to be superwoman.
She served great 🍺, then evening meals making us feel relaxed. Then we had a good breakfast and yes you guessed served by Jules. Her service made a good over stay more memorable. Many thanks from all four of us.

Plenty of opportunities to eat out, or just enjoy a drink.

Our favourite places were the Inverness Botanical Gardens and the Falls of Foyers, (which are about 15 miles away)

Lovely city with some really beautiful parts.
Lovely city with some really beautiful parts. Clearly a seedy side (there was a major assault not 50m from our door on one night!), which is true of any city, but Inverness is small enough for it to feel cheek by jowl with the nicer parts. Great range of places to eat and things to do. Easily walkable to everywhere.

Inverness is a beautiful city. Nice shopping streets and shops. Many nice restaurants with varied menu options. We recommend Aye Eats for the Scottish experience and food. Also, recommend House of Aran for shopping. Both are with in walking distance of our accommodation.

It’s a surprisingly small down that feels a bit empty in the day - mostly comes to life at night with all the live music in bars. For tourists, seems mostly a stopping point en route to Loch Ness rather than a destination of its own.

The location is spot on. Parking a 5 minute walk away. Paid £60 extra to make it a triple room which meant a camp bed was placed in the room…not impressed, couldn’t sleep in it, had to share double bed.

Easy to get to city whether travelling by road, rail, bus and air (air port slightly out of Inverness). We travelled by train and we had lunch in the Ash Restaurant next to the railway station as we had time to kill before we got into our apartment and food was excellent. We also visited the Palace hotel for afternoon tea which was also good.
Plenty of eateries, pubs and shops
We spent 3 days with Sergio, it was our first stay in Scotland. We wanted authenticity and we found it with our host. His house is old and full of history, far from the hotel rooms of the big impersonal chains. The breakfast is prepared according to our wishes and it is typically Scottish!
The room fully met our expectations and we slept very well there.
Sergio is an exceptional host, very kind, very available and with a very beautiful philosophy of life. It was a very nice meeting, a wonderful memory for us. Thanks again Sergio!
Friendly welcome from host who is a mine of information about Scotland and Inverness, from lovely anecdotes to tips for places to visit and things to do. Rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, every taste catered, be it fresh fruit salad, yogurt or porridge to a full cooked breakfast.
We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cosy and comfortable guest house just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Inverness.
Our favorite place we stayed during our 10 day Scotland trip by far. Beautiful home, great location, room and bathroom were beautifully decorated and large!! Our host, Joan, couldn’t have been nicer. She messaged us restaurants ahead of time and suggested making a reservation because they get so crowded, which we did and it was perfect! Could easily walk there and all around the town. Really great breakfast too with fruit even!! Perfect stay!
It was the best hostel I have been in my long travel through Scotland. Good relation quality/price, and in the center of Inverness, near the Castle. I was in a room for four, clean, comfortable, with space. Shared bathroom are very good, modern and clean. I did not used the other facilities. They have space where to leave lugage between checkout and gone... and the rest room is so nice! Definitely, a place to choose in Inverness.
The whole apartment experience was absolutely fantastic. Jo was really helpful and assisted my wife in moving apartments as we extended our stay but the first one wasn't available for the second night! Nothing was any trouble. I think that I can say that after 40 years of travel around Scotland for business and pleasure, this was the most exceptional stay. We are planning to stay again either later this month or next!
The bed was so comfy, and more importantly the shower had been fixed from when I was staying in the same room only last week. The staff here are so helpful and friendly. Also, it's a delight to see classy biscuits on the tea tray which also allows for more than one cup of tea/coffee, instead of the usual cheap and easy style of other hotels I've visited so far in Inverness.
We stayed at the hotel whilst enjoying the East coast of Scotland. The hotel is in a great location just past Inverness and right on the front. Our room had a great view! The bed was very comfy and our evening meal there was fantastic. A really great value hotel for a short stay. There is parking at the hotel and on the roadside. Check-in and out was very easy.
The location was perfect for us to walk into Inverness, which gave a break from driving and public transport.
Cathy is a lovely lady, a genuine Scot, warm hearted and kind. We drove to loch ness in the evening which was about 8 miles away.
Her breakfast was amazing, we loved the fresh strawberries. We would definitely go back the next time we are in Scotland.
Excellent location for our trip. A short drive to Loch Ness so perfect!
Food was fantastic especially the haggis (first timer)
Our host was friendly and chatty which was very welcome. Louise and I are very pleased to see this hotel up and running again. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful area of Scotland.
Our host was just the most lovely person. I spoke to her a few times before our stay and each time she was grand. She recommended restaurants in the area and even helped us make a reservation. Our accommodations were spacious and beautiful and breakfast was amazing. When we come back to Scotland we will definitely stay here again!
Dryburgh Apt #3 was a beautifully decorated and large apartment. Centrally located in Inverness, Scotland. A short walk to city center and to the river. No problem parking on side streets with the parking pass provided. Very comfortable beds and a very stylish bathroom. Artwork was amazing.
What an incredible start to our time in Scotland! Kenny was incredibly welcoming and provided an excellent recommendation for dinner our first night in the city. The Bluebell Room was lovely. Bluebell House was a great place to stay for our two days in and around Inverness. Highly recommend!
Everything was excellent! My family loved the place as much as I did. All our expectations were exceeded. I don’t want to compare but of all the accommodations we had during our Scotland trip, Taigh d’ Luxe was the best (noting that we stayed at H****n hotels in Glasgow.
It is a great starting point to travel all around Scotland and the Highlands. Inverness is just a few minutes away and the place is tidy, comfortable and you got everything you need. The hosts Ian and Oyfrid were also very lovely and kind! We had a great time there.
Lily Bank is a lovely home in a new area of Inverness. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and very close to shops for your essentials.
Day trips to Isle of Skye and Northern Scotland are easy with it's central location. Would highly recommend.
